Do I need a licence to spray with a drone on my own farm?

CASA lets landholders fly 25 to 150 kg drones over their own land with a RePL and no ReOC, if unpaid. State rules may still apply: in Queensland, aerial distribution needs a pilot chemical rating licence regardless of land ownership.

Can any chemical be applied by drone?

Only if all the label’s aerial directions can be met. The APVMA treats RPAS as aircraft for spray drift purposes.

How much does drone spraying cost per hectare?

It depends on area, water rate and travel. We quote in writing.

Is a drone faster than a ground rig?

Usually not on big open paddocks. Drones win on wet ground, small blocks and precision work.

Do you work in both QLD and NSW?

That is the plan, with the right state licences in place for each.
